We, Sven and Sybille Schäffer, welcome you to ” Rheinhessen-pur”.

Travelling – this desire began in our youth and the travel fever continues to this day.

Whether by motorbike (still full of enthusiasm today), by bicycle, by kayak or sailing boat or even in the air with ultralight flying – we have always experienced friendly people and intense hospitality.
We learned through these experiences: life is people, respect towards them, but also respect towards nature.

In 2017, we got the opportunity to buy the “Alte Bürgermeisterei” from friends. Our friends wanted to start a new phase of their lives in Portugal.
It was a unique opportunity for us to return the hospitality we had experienced for decades as hosts……..
After three years of careful renovation, we are now delighted to welcome you with all our hearts.

Whether on foot, by bike over the rolling hills, by kayak or SUP on the Rhine, by motorbike on eventful day tours or simply to relax and recharge your batteries – everything is possible.

The variety and high quality of Rhine-Hessian wines as well as the friendly and open people of the region invite you to explore the spirit of our cultural landscape.
